Marcus Ferdinand is an experienced case manager and social worker with a background in mental health, crisis intervention, and housing assistance. Fluent in Spanish and intermediate in French, he has worked with diverse populations in various settings.
Currently, Marcus works as a Clinician (Unlicensed) at Santa Rita Jail with Telecare Corporation in Dublin, CA, where he conducts assessments, collaborates with various stakeholders, and initiates treatment plans for individuals served.
Previously, Marcus held positions as a Service Coordinator at Satellite Affordable Housing Associates in Oakland, CA, where he provided non-clinical case management for senior residents in a low-income building. He also worked as a Warmline Peer Counselor at the Mental Health Association of San Francisco and as a Case Manager at Kalihi Palama Health Center in Honolulu, HI.
Marcus holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington and a BA in Human Development from California State University, Hayward. He is also a former Senior Airman in the United States Air Force.
