His passion for helping others led him to pursue a career in therapy, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Human Development Across the Life Span, an Associates degree in Alcohol and Drug Counseling, and ultimately a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Oaks College.
With a strong background in various evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Play Therapy, Robert has been providing essential support to individuals, groups, and families at Central City Recovery in Los Angeles since September 2020. As a therapist, he excels in crisis intervention, motivational interviewing, and group therapy, utilizing a comprehensive understanding of ASAM assessment and DSM 5 evaluations.
Robert's commitment to the community is further demonstrated through his volunteer work, including reading to children, participating in international missionary work in Ukraine, and teaching Sunday school.
