William Hill

     Meet William Hill, a dedicated and compassionate mental health professional with a diverse background in art and social work. William's passion for supporting adults and promoting healthy aging led him to earn his Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California in May 2017, after receiving a Bachelor of Art from California State University Northridge in May 2013.

     With extensive training in Problem Solving Therapy (PST), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR), and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), William possesses a broad toolkit to address the mental health needs of his clients.

     As a Full Service Partnership (FSP) Clinician at SCHARP Behavioral Health, William excels in evaluating and treating individuals with severe comorbid and co-occurring disorders. He skillfully assesses and plans treatments for a high disparity population, conducting screenings to determine the severity of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), hospitalizations, and current social/occupational functionality.

     Previously, William served as an Executive Board Member at Wellness Works, where he honed his project management skills and mentored Master of Social Work Candidates. As a Clinical Case Manager at Volunteers of America, William worked with veterans experiencing co-morbid and co-occurring diagnoses, using a variety of therapeutic approaches in both individual and group settings. He also played a crucial role in discharge planning and ensuring timely execution.

     At Magellan Behavioral Health, William coordinated care for members with behavioral health conditions, conducting comprehensive assessments and serving as a point of contact for clients and their families. His commitment to improving the lives of others is evident in every aspect of his work.
